Sugar rush toys6/13/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rancis is next seen at the Random Roster Race, and Vanellope also comes with a new kart. Ralph comes out and charges at them and Rancis and the other racers jump into their karts and drive away. After failing to convince her not to race, Rancis starts kicking her kart, and the other racers start vandalizing the kart while Taffyta yells at Vanellope and tosses her into a mud puddle. Rancis is called by Taffyta and he, along with a large group of other racers, follow Vanellope to a junkyard where they see her racing kart. King Candy tries to arrest her, but Wreck-It Ralph distracts the guards. Rancis is first seen racing and then giving a gold coin to King Candy but is disturbed by Vanellope's arrival. He is shown in a more sympathetic light as a person who works hard to achieve his goals, can be sensitive as he was hurt by Taffyta's remarks about him never being able to win a Sugar Rush cup, and a hard worker as he did not give up in trying to win. ![]() His character is more fleshed out in One Sweet Race as he is shown to have never won a Sugar Rush Cup and had worked hard to win one, even going so far as to go to sell all of his belongings to go to the bakery and buy the best kart there was, only to crash it due to his inexperience. Determined to win a trophy, Rancis ends up selling all his possessions to buy a superior kart. In One Sweet Race, Rancis' softer side comes to light when he falls victim to Taffyta's teasing. Often, Rancis is seen looking at himself in the rearview mirror or primping when interacting with others, he is usually shown smirking or gloating, suggesting he is somewhat egotistical and considers others as a source of amusement. Rancis always seems to be very dedicated in his endeavors, whether it be bullying Vanellope due to King Candy's manipulation or racing for the Sugar Rush Cup. He has bright eyes and even brighter ideas, which are reflected in his smooth racing techniques. Rancis Fluggerbutter may look like a party on the outside, but he's all business on the inside. This blazer-wearing boy wonder likes looking in the mirror almost as much as he likes racing. Rancis Fluggerbutter: the power peanut boy He is part of a large group of children, but seemed to usually be with Taffyta Muttonfudge and Candlehead. It was announced by Klei Entertainment in late August 2010, that development of Sugar Rush had stopped and the game was cancelled.Rancis is a racer from the game Sugar Rush initially he was among the racers who had bullied Vanellope for her status as a glitch. As stated by Klei entertainment, Sugar Rush "will see the light of day", although not being published by Nexon America. In July 2009, Nexon announced they would be closing the Sugar Rush website, as they would no longer be the publishers for the game. Nexon has been amazingly great to work with during the difficult transition, and the current result is that Klei has retained the rights to Sugar Rush, and remain committed to the title. According to Cheng, "Since the shutdown of Nexon Publishing North America, there has been a ton of inquiries regarding the fate of Sugar Rush. The only information provided about the game's future's was a message posted on the developer's blog on by Klei Entertainment CEO Jamie Cheng. However, Nexon closed its North American development studio, Humanature in March 2009 and the future of Sugar Rush has been in question since then. The Second Closed Beta for Sugar Rush started on the November 20, 2008, and finished on the December 4, 2008. In May 2008, when Min Kim, Nexon's director of game operations, was interviewed at Ten Ton Hammer he stated that a game was in development in a Vancouver Studio. Sugar Rush was developed in Vancouver by Klei Entertainment. ![]()
